Net Send Communicator
Bug:
I am running winXP and LOVE NetSend. But, there has been a couple of times that it just stops working for no reason. It will pretent to send out a message (but it really doesn't) and the next time you try to send out a message, it pops up with this error message "Failed to set alias name ... the remote server machine does not exist or is unavailable". I know this is not the case. I hva fixed it once before, but I ended up doing so many things, I am not sure what was the real fix. I have tried re-installing it, patching the fm20*.dll's, updating and complete regedit deleting and re-installing. None of them worked this time. START-->RUN--> Net Send
works just fine, and the other users on our network have their NetSend working as well.
