Thanks for your hint. When using the code provided here, the extension does not really matter, i.e. the quality of the graph exported remains very poor. In the meantime I foun the "real" solution. You just need to use the comman CopyPicture. E.g. Charts(1).CopyPicture and then paste it onto your slide. Like this you will have the same quality as you wuld get it, when copying and pasting the chart as a picture manually.
