Creating a Mapped drive to view the contents of the GAC

The easiest way to view the contents of the GAC (global assembly cache) is to use a mapped drive. The command line below maps the GAC to the G drive: SUBST G: %windir%\assembly\gac to remove the mapping use the following command: SUBST G: /D
