Hope someone can help with this: Sheet1, column a contains the date from 1 jan - 31 dec. Sheet2 column a contains numbers from 1 - 8. Sheet2 column b contains character values.(E.g. Boot, Jogging, Moon, etc.) Sheet2 column c contains numeric values(frequencies) 12 = monthly, 2 = 6 monthly, etc. I need to randomly select records from sheet2 column b to insert into sheet1 column b based on the frequency in sheet2 column c. E.g. If frequency = 2, it must not appear more than twice in sheet1 column b. If frequency = 6 it must not appear more than 6 times in sheet 1 column b. Not sure if this is even possible or if I make myself clear enough.
