Excel VBA - Choosing a Custom Cursor over a Worksheet

I am using Excel2000 (soon will be using 2002). I wish to be able to choose a custom cursor while the cursor is over an Excel Worksheet. I understand how to use Application.Cursor to change it, but as far as I can tell, that only gets me the four basics (hourglass, default, NW Arrow, I-beam). I can successfully use object.MousePointer to change to a custom cursor while over a user form. However, when I set the object to either the Active Workbook or a Worksheet therein, and try to use object.MousePointer, I get an error message stating the object does not support that property. Apparantly object.MousePointer does not work for a Workbook or Worksheet object?? So, is there a way to get something like the custom cursor functionality that object.MousePointer provides for a user form, but for a worksheet instead.
